I've been exploring glassmorphism in Power BI, and today, I'm releasing a tool and blog post to help you get the DAX to apply the effect in your Power BI visuals.Try the tool and read the full blog post, link the first comment! 🔗👇✨Don't forget to follow us on BIBB | UX driven BIGlassmorphism is not a native formatting option in Power BI but can be achieved using any HTML visual; the effect is very popular in web design. Analyzing candidates for open positions using ChatGPT.Today, I was experimenting with the possibility of using a large language model to match five GPT-generated CVs of candidates against a job opening. This work left me with mixed feelings/results: although the LLM results were generally "correct," they were inconsistent; the same qualifications/skills were rated differently between candidates and between runs. The LLM was very good at consistently identifying the weakest candidate, which suggests that recruiters can use AI tools effectively to narrow down the candidate pool rather than make hiring decisions. The previous point is problematic on its own as it could lead (is it already leading?) to a race of doctoring and crafting CVs to pass ATS systems, ending with a pool of perfect-on-paper candidates, back to square one. #Analytics #BusinessIntelligemce #LLM #ChatGPT #JupyterNotebook

Transforming LinkedIn's Approximate Posting Date to the Exact Date and Time. 📅🔍.Ever felt the need to uncover the exact date and time of a LinkedIn post, but all you had was an approximate posting date like '1w' or '3d'? By delving into a LinkedIn post's HTML source, you'll discover a lengthy numeric value associated with each activity. This number holds the key to transforming it into a precise datetime format. Here's how you can unlock this power. The Process: 1. Identify the Activity Number: This is the long numeric value in the HTML code of a LinkedIn post.2. Convert to Binary: Change this number to its binary form.3. Extract the Key Digits: Take the first 41 digits from this binary string.4. Convert to Decimal: Transform to decimal these 41 binary digits, they represent a Unix timestamp in milliseconds.5. Transform to Datetime: Convert this Unix timestamp to a human-readable datetime format. Here is the Py code needed: import datetime# Step 1: Transform to binaryactivity = 7198200780061900800binary_activity = bin(activity)[2:]# Remove the '0b' prefix# Step 2: Get the first 41 digits of the binary representationfirst_41_digits = binary_activity[:41]# Step 3: Transform these 41 digits to decimaldecimal_value = int(first_41_digits, 2)# Step 4: Convert the decimal value (UNIX timestamp in milliseconds) to date time formattimestamp = decimal_value / 1000# Convert milliseconds to secondsdate_time = datetime.datetime.fromtimestamp(timestamp)print("Binary Representation:", binary_activity)print("First 41 Binary Digits:", first_41_digits)print("Decimal Value:", decimal_value)print("Date Time:", date_time)#LinkedIn #Python #Py
